Sports Injury & Physiotherapy in Leeds
Chartered physiotherapists treating sports injuries with hands-on care and honest advice.
What We Offer
Whatever you're dealing with, treatment starts with finding out what's actually going on, not just easing the symptom in front of us.
Sports Injury Treatment
from £55
For sprains, strains, and the niggles that flare up mid-season, we work out what's actually damaged and what's just compensating for it. You leave with a clear idea of what happened, what we're doing about it, and roughly when you'll be back to full training.
Rehabilitation Programmes
from £45 / session
Once the initial pain settles, this is the week-by-week work that rebuilds strength and confidence in the joint or muscle you injured. We set the exercises, check your form in person, and adjust the load as you improve so you're not guessing at home.
Sports Massage
£50 / hour
Deep, targeted work on tight or overworked muscles, useful before a big race, after a heavy training block, or when a niggle keeps coming back. It's firm rather than relaxing, aimed at getting tissue moving properly again rather than just feeling good for an hour.
Movement Assessments
£70
We watch how you actually move, squat, run, reach, before deciding on any treatment, because pain in one spot is often caused by something happening somewhere else. You get a straight answer on what's driving the problem and a plan built around that, not a generic exercise sheet.

Physiotherapy Built on a Proper Assessment
We set Clearwater up because we wanted proper time with each patient, not ten minutes between appointments. Most people who come through the door are dealing with something specific: a knee that gives way on the football pitch, a shoulder that will not settle after a fall, a back that has been stiff for months. We start every case with a movement assessment, so treatment is based on what your body is actually doing, not a guess. From there it might be hands-on therapy, sports massage, or a rehab programme you work through week by week, and we tell you plainly what to expect and how long it should take. Plenty of our patients are Leeds runners, footballers and gym regulars, and plenty just want to pick up their kids or sleep through the night without pain. Either way, the plan is built around what you need to get back to, and we check it is working rather than assuming it is.

Common Questions
Do I need a GP referral to book an appointment? +
No, you can come straight to us. As chartered physiotherapists we're trained to assess and diagnose directly, so there's no need to wait on a referral before getting started.
What actually happens in the first session? +
We talk through what's going on and how it started, then run a movement assessment to see how your body is coping and where the problem is really coming from. By the end you'll have a working diagnosis and a plan, not just a stretch to try at home.
How many sessions will I need? +
It depends entirely on what you're dealing with. A straightforward muscle strain might need two or three visits, while a knee that's been unstable for months could take a longer rehab programme. We'll give you an honest estimate after the first assessment and update it as we go, rather than booking you in for a fixed course upfront.
Can you help even if I'm not an athlete? +
Yes, plenty of our patients just want to walk the dog without their back seizing up, or get through a shift at work without their shoulder aching. The approach is the same either way: work out what's actually happening and build a plan around what you need to get back to.
Can I book a sports massage on its own? +
You can book sports massage on its own, no injury or referral needed, whether you're maintaining training or just carrying tension from everyday life. If we spot something during the massage that looks like it needs a proper assessment, we'll say so plainly rather than just carrying on.
